I am delta (sant jaume d’Enveja) and rice has reminded me of the flavor my grandmother makes. I recommend the rice of the house (alcachofa, crab and galera). spectacular. I also recommend the rebounded and toasted chipirones with smoked eel. unbeatable service: friendly, very pleasant and attentive. the dessert of the very good house (coloured with cookie, cream and chocolate). We will certainly return for its excellent quality price.

It takes a drive through the Ebro Delta rice fields to reach Deltebre and we recommend the lunchtime menu del dia (it is the only meal we've eaten there... But numerous times) At 10euros per head, with wine or water per person included, you'll never receive a better meal for the price and in tidy, interesting surroundings. The building has pots of flowers all around the outside, is well-maintained and the mother is an oil painting artist in her spare time (when? she is cook too) Her art is around the walls and her daughters and family members serve. Salad or juice to start, pasta or rice to follow, then tasty meat stews or wonderful fish or sepia-type meals offered, then basic desserts to follow. Even the coffee is rich and well made. Try it!
