Skyhawk Restaurant - Delta
Skyhawk Restaurant
Description
Located at Boundary Bay Airport, Skyhawk restaurant offers a mix of experiences. While some diners have had disappointing encounters with unfriendly staff and lackluster food quality, others have enjoyed their meals and the relaxed atmosphere. Portion sizes are generous, with the MOT burger being a standout dish. The breakfast menu is particularly popular and prices are reasonable. With a scenic view of planes taking off and landing, Skyhawk provides a unique dining experience for patrons, although consistency in service and food quality could be improved. Overall, it's a decent spot for basic, straightforward meals in a cool airport setting.

Prices are reasonable, although $3 seems to be the norm for a cup of coffee in a Lower Mainland restaurant these days!My dad had fish & chips ($8.95) which he said were very good. Everyone else enjoyed their food. Sat outside which was very pleasant; the a/c was on inside and it seemed a bit chilly for my family. The servers were very friendly and did an excellent job. There is free parking at this airport and it was a pleasant way to spend a lunch hour.
We have had lunch here many times and the hot beef sandwich is so good that I cannot get past it to try other items on the menu. If you want fancy, go downtown but for good, plain food that will not break the bank it is hard to beat the Skyhawk.Going again this week and will try hard to sample something different.
Never a problem to serve our group ten. The owner (Rudy) alone, cooked up a wide variety and everything came out together and hot. Everyone went home happy and full. I had the rib and pasta special where the wife had fish with a salad. others had the fish and chips and one person had a curry bowl.
The food is usually fairly good, the staff is always welcoming and friendly, and the location is awesome. Right at Boundary Bay Airport and the runway is the main attraction!
