Skyhawk restaurant, overlooking Boundary Bay Airport, offers a bright and spacious dining experience with a varied menu. While some find the food to be meager and the service slow during busy times, others enjoy the picturesque view of light aircraft take-offs. Despite a pleasant atmosphere, issues with food quality, service, and management have left some diners disappointed. One patron even fell ill after ordering a hot turkey sandwich that the manager acknowledged had made several other customers sick. With unmet promises of follow-up from the owner, this out-of-the-way spot may not be worth the visit.

Was Anonym at Sky Hawk a mag?
This restaurant is located at the Boundary Bay Airport main terminal. From here you can eat your yummy meal (great price!) and watch the small planes take off on the tarmac!!! View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Sky Hawk:
Ordered FULL size of nachos, they brought a SMALL half size (I know how the big one is, because i ordered it before several times). I questioned the size and asked to make it full size, but the cook just rudely laughed at me. Ended up paying $30 for this small snack and a medium glass of beer. Ridiculous!PS: oh yes, never order steak in this place either. Not only you'll pay much more than in Montana's or so, but the... View all feedback.

Excellent place for small aviation buffs. Food can be hit and miss as in not much home made, more institutional.

First time at the new terminal building, so thought I'd try the new restaurant. I ordered the Airside burger (house burger) and a diet coke. $8.99 for a burger and fries is pretty cheap, and I found out why! It's probably the cheapest frozen burger patty you can buy, and tastes like it too! And what are the thinking charging 2.75 for a CAN of diet coke??? Seriously? The staff is nice enough, and watching the planes coming and going is kinda cool. But not sure that makes up for the mediocre burger and the usury charge for canned pop.On the plus side, the Airport wifi worked very well!

We had a fantastic culinary experience at Skyhawk for a birthday dinner, but unfortunately it ended up being a disappointing and unforgettable one. The service was lacking, with an unfriendly waitress who did not check on us after serving our meals. The hot turkey sandwich we ordered tasted chemically terrible and the bread was unchewable. My partner finished his plate, but I only ate a bit of mine and ended up getting sick later that night. The manager called to inform us that several other customers had also gotten sick from the same sandwich, but there was no apology or concern shown. It has been a week and still no follow-up from the owner as promised. This restaurant has serious issues and we will not be returning.

This family-friendly restaurant offers views of the airport and the bay. It has ample seating and a bright atmosphere. The menu is extensive with a lot of variety, and most dishes are priced around $15. The food is tasty and enjoyable, and the service is very friendly.
