I was promised on multiple occasions they could mak... read more If I could give zero stars I would. I special ordered a photo cake for my soon to be four year old daughter. I was promised on multiple occasions they could make the cake I ordered. When I came to pick up the cake I was shocked. The image was nothing likewhat I sent them. The text was supposed to be in bright pink, but it was light grey. I was told that it was normal and that thiswas how the cakes always turn out. However I had looked at their photo cakes online and it simply wasn?t true. They also had abulletin board displaying images of their photo cakes. The manager didn?t want to speak to me however eventually she called meand admitted the printer had been broken for days. This story is too long to include every detail, but ultimately they lied tome and made a false promise. All they had to do was tell me the truth so I could make arrangements for a cake for my daughtersomewhere else. It?s unforgivable. We are in the middle of a pandemic, my daughter hasn?t been able to see grandparents, etc. inmore than a year. We couldn?t have a party with friends and for that reason we just wanted to make her birthday special. For therecord, the cake was terrible almost inedible. My daughter loves Menchies cakes, but after one bite wouldn?t touch it. Iunderstand why. I can?t believe we paid for such a mess. My husband didn?t get home until 11 pm (the night before my daughter?sbirthday) after going back and asking if anything could be done to fix the cake. It created tremendous stress, because we had noalternative. They could have warned us. I had been so sad about my daughter not being able to celebrate her birthday withfamily and friends. This was supposed to be one of the few things I could do to make her day special and they ruined it. I?mbeyond disheartened by their dishonesty.
