Delta Lion Pub & Bistro

Went there to night from 4 till 7pm on a Wednesday. They had happy hour from 4 till 6 pm and 2 for one pizza which where very good. They had live music which started about 5:15pm and was just the proper sound level so that you could still talk and enjoy your stay, we sat 2 tables away from the speakers. Remember this is a pub.

Being new to the area, we're trying as many of the near-by eateries as we can to find "the spot". After the first visit, I'd have to say this one didn't make the cut. We found it to be overly loud and high priced. Why to people think loud music is necessary to have a beer?

Just left the delta lion, what a waste of calories. Ordered two pizza, the crust was burnt and toppings cheap. It is such a shame that we dont have a decent pub in this area that is within walking distance. Im sure this is the reason why they are still in business, no competition. I think the sibway would hsve been a better choice for food and then just go to the pub for a drink. Next time!

Looks like they finally booted the smokers off the outdoor patio here so at least you can get a seat at the only outdoor patio in the neighbourhood.I agree with what others have said about the food - it's uninspired frozen and blah so drink here and then go across the street for good pizza.Staff are friendly and attentive but why doesnt somebody read these reviews and do something about the washrooms?

This is your local pub. Food's not fancy. Beer is good. Good selection of draft beers, including my favourite Four Winds. Lots of TV screens to watch any sport. Service is friendly. Also have a meeting room for local social clubs and charity events. Pizza, burgers and wings are good and so are daily specials. Not fancy but good
