BEST. Food I’ve ever had in my life. The Mac n cheese is creamy, the meats are tender and juicy, the sauce is phenomenal the corn cake sweet potatoes are to die for. I have always had good food from here. However the tuesday sandwich special was a disapointment. Fries were good. The pork was very dry and the miniture cup of sauce really didn't help much. The sauce had good flavor just didn't have enough. View all feedback.
As a fat guy in my 30’s Iv seen more than my fair share of bbq, and that was at least day old reheated brisket very dry and stringy not what I’d expect from a bbq joint especially at that price point. Very dissapointing

My husband and I were out celebrating our anniversary and we had heard great things about this place so we figured we would give it a try. First of all the price for what you get was crazy expensive. We both love coleslaw and we honestly couldn’t even hardly get it down. The pulled chicken was so dry that even sauce wasn’t helping and the one slice of brisket with more fat than there was meat had an up charge. We don’t eat pork so maybe that’s what they do better than beef or chicken but we were very very disappointed. I hardly ate anything and my husband had to help me because he didn’t want to waste the money we spent on it so helped me finish mine but we left the coleslaw behind. The fries were the best part of the meal.
Love this spot. Every time I am in Lansing, I have to stop here. Brisket sandwich is so good.Also, love the workers and atmosphere. Very friendly and great vibes.Have you seen their custom tip jar?? True artist behind that counter.
Great mom and pop bbq spot... great spices .. their collard greens ARE UNMATCHED... their pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw is super yummy
