Gary Rack's Farmhouse Kitchen Delray Beach

Took my mom here for the first time for her birthday and we had a great time! Our server (I forgot her name, sorry) was amazing and the food was, as usual, outstanding. Had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back!

The food was very good, but the portions of the main course mahi and the side vegetables were small. The chicken liver pate was superb except we had to ask that it be served up with the honey taken off since the sweetness ruins, the taste of the pot the waitress was top-notch. She was friendly, efficient, professional, and you couldn't ask for better service. Will come back but might just order the mahi sandwich next time since I think the portion size is about the same.

Great location. Mediocre food and cocktails were flavorless. Ordered one of their signature dishes and had to send it back as the chicken was burned and brussel sprouts mush. Second attempt wasn 't much better, and got a sense the manager and chef did not care. On the positive side, our server was very kind and attentive, and salad was tasty.

The food was average. Service was slow. The kitchen took a long time to prep our food and they were not busy. When the food arrived, it was presented well and looked tasty. In my opinion, it was slightly better than average and nothing special. Menu did not offer a sufficient number of choices.

Dined for brunch on Mother's Day. We were sat in the restaurant behind on the side street. Neither hostess at the main restaurant or Racks was friendly or personable. We were offered not ideal tables even though we had a reservation. The food was ok and came out quick. Our server was pleasant and kept the mimosas going. Those were ok but would have been better if they weren't premade. Prob pick another spot for brunch next time.
