Wonderful restaurant. Disappointed with the veal parm dish Which consisted of medallions of veal that were a bit on the tough side. The waiters PUSH Specials which are pricey. OK expected... but the items on the regular menu used to be wonderful... not just mediocre. Second time here and disappointed. View all feedback.
What Michelle Stuart doesn't like about Casa L'acqua Italiano:
Certainly! Here is the revised version of your text to make it sound more professional: The ambiance of the restaurant was charming and cozy, and the staff members were welcoming and attentive. However, our waiter was rather slow in bringing us the check and returning our card. While the appetizers were delightful, our main courses were lacking in quality. Despite this, I appreciated the restaurant 's convenient loca... View all feedback.

Cafe Lacqua? More like Cafe Lackocka. They had a job ad online asking for applicants to come in between 2 and 4 with a resume. I came in at 2 as per instruction and was told to come back in an hour. I came back at 3 and had to wait another 30 minutes. We chatted a little and I went in the next day for a stage. About an hour in they pull me to the side to let me know they changed their mind and would like to try me out as a server instead of a runner. They handed me a menu study sheet and asked of me to purchase a white button shirt and a tie should I not already own one. I went out and spent 30$ on a proper Lackocka uniform, spent 2 hours making study cards only to come in the next day and sent home immediately by one of the other managers who wasn 't there the previous day. I reached out to one of the other managers to find out why the hell they got me all worked up just to be sent home the very next day. His reasoning was we decided to go in a different directions with another server . Why do you lead somebody on and then flip 180 the very next day and how do you know their capability in comparison to somebody else when you 've never even seen them work the floor. In 12 years of working and cooking in different restaurants across the county I 've seen every dish in that restaurant a 1000 time in 100 different ways. I knew every dish from day one. I can probably go back there and cook them myself with my eyes closed. Nothing special. The most comical part of the experience was when the owner himself had me taste their basic risotto. Here, wanna try something different? He goes to me. As if I 've never had risotto before. Over cooked and lemony as hell. Ok fine, so there was miscommunication. They changed their mind. Happens okay. At least have the decency to reimburse me for the articles of clothing. They did write me a check for the 4 hours I was there but when I asked for a further 30$ reimbursement, their response as sorry but the owner will not cut a check for the uniform as it cannot be declared a tax deductible business expense . What about my personal time and money? That you wasted? Can that be deducted? What if I had another job lined up and I put if off believing I 'm getting a real opportunity? Disgusting.

My recent visit to Casa L’acqua left me in awe and craving for more! From the moment I stepped into the restaurant to the last bite of my meal, everything was simply exceptional. The ambiance was inviting and charming, it’s in an old house in Delray Beach, a cozy and authentic atmosphere. The staff members were warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about providing an unforgettable dining experience, specially Cecilia who went above and beyond to create a truly memorable night. Let's talk about the main star: the food! Oh my goodness, the flavors were absolutely exquisite. To start off, we were served 4 bite size pieces of cheese, along with a sweet homemade sauce to pair with the cheese and some homemade bread, and two bruschettas, this is all complimentary. I started my gastronomic journey with their hot ceviche over risotto, which was a beautifully presented masterpiece. The risotto was perfectly cooked and the fish was juicy and bursting with flavor, complemented perfectly by the Italian glass of wine Cecilia suggested. It was a true delight for both the eyes and the taste buds. As a pasta lover, I couldn't resist trying their homemade pasta dishes. The lobster ravioli was velvety and rich, with the perfect balance between creaminess and lobster meat. Each bite melted in my mouth, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. For the main course, I indulged in their New Zealand lamb chops, which was nothing short of perfection. The tender braised full rack was served with a heavenly side of roasted potatoes topped with sage, creating a harmonious symphony of flavors. It was a divine combination that I will be dreaming about for nights to come. To top it all off, Joe (the owner) and Cecilia sent us their authentic tiramisu as dessert. It was pure bliss! The delicate layers of ladyfingers, soaked in fragrant coffee and layered with creamy mascarpone, were a dessert lover's paradise. Each bite left me yearning for more, and I savored it until the very last spoonful. Overall, Casa L’acqua exceeded all expectations I had for an Italian dining experience. The attention to detail, the quality of ingredients, and the culinary craftsmanship were truly remarkable. Whether you're a food enthusiast, seeking a romantic dinner, or simply looking for an outstanding meal, I highly recommend you visit this hidden gem you won't be disappointed! And ask for Cecilia! Thank you to the entire team for providing an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of your tantalizing menu. Bravo!
It is definitely a titanic quest finding good Italian anywhere in Florida. Casa L’Acqua will never disappoint. This cozy incredibly charming spot in Delray is always top of my list. If you can dine in their patio, do so. Super attentive service from beginning to end and everything we have always ordered has been over expectations. If you enjoy a good cocktail before dinner, you will like this place even more : . Food: 5
