Bagel Tree - Delray Beach

Pleased AgainBagel Tree is a crowd pleaser, whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They seem to be full most of the time. This time we went for dinner and found the service, food, and pricing to be very good. The lamb shank, lamb chops, schrod, and flounder were all quite good. Obviously, some dishes are better than others, but over all, Bagel Tree serves it up good and reasonably priced. We were pleased again.

What a lovely little surprise my husband and I stumbled upon today. Situated inside of an older shopping center, I was hesitant to even go in but I'm glad we did. We love bagel/deli style restaurants. The place is larger than it looks from the outside. A steady flow of people going in and coming out. The hostess was not very pleasant ot hospitable but the waitress made up for her lack of personality. The decor is a bit old and dated but the place is very clean. The menu is quite large and offers many different items as well ad all of the regular items a typical jewish/NY deli. The portions were large and the prices are very reasonable. The food was quite delicious. The waitress was attentive, friendly and offered suggestions. My husband had the corned beef sandwich which he told me was lean and tasty. I had the Cuban sandwich and was surprised by how much meat was inside of it. Also tried the potato pancakes and the sweet potato fries, which by the way, were huge and you can see that they were cut fresh. The place had a steady flow of happy customers and now they can add two more to the list!

Very clean place.service was good and fast. The food was good. You can not kill eggs or toast a bagel. Not expensive for two eggs toast Coffee 5.99. Will go back

I'm hesitant to recommend Bagel Tree because I'd like to keep it for myself. That said the huge breakfast special for $7.99 consists of coffee, two eggs, potatoes, and bagel every morsel is delicious. They offer a terrific complete dinner at a very reasonable price but you need to arrive before 8 pm. The food is NY deli style and the dining room style is one huge room with tables and chairs. If the only thing I can say about this place that could improve is the ambience, I'm ok with that. The staff more than makes up for it with there quick smiling service and are always glad to get whatever you wish.

Very busy on a Sunday morning, the value for the money is obvious on its face. Staff was friendly and prompt, which considering what they have fo deal with in the way of cranky customers says alot. In fact the customers, who largely think they are entitled to make demands merely because of their age is the one thing I truly didn’t like about the place. That is not the owner’s fault…justvthe throngs of people who forgot basic courtesy and manners which were taught in Kindergarten.
