Description
Nestled in a cozy strip mall, this Turkish restaurant offers a mix of experiences that reflect its transitioning ownership. Diners have described the food as both flavorful and well-prepared, with standout dishes like mantı and hunkar begendi delighting new patrons. While the ambiance is inviting and the owners are approached as friendly and engaged, some reviews noted that prices are on the higher side for small portion sizes. Overall, this establishment presents an interesting culinary choice for those seeking authentic Turkish flavors, although value perceptions may vary among visitors. As it evolves under new ownership, potential returns are anticipated.

The restaurant is currently closed for construction. They were issued a permit on August 15, 2018. I enjoyed my first visit to the restaurant, but I am now a little disappointed.
I was charged 25 dollars for a salad . I was shocked when I got the bill . The total was 55 dollars for a salad entree and desert . I don’t recommend this place and I would never go back again
I went to this restaurant for lunch with my family. The owners were very friendly and the food was quite delicious. It was a bit more expensive than other Turkish restaurants we have visited. I would suggest it for a relaxed lunch if you are in the area.
We were treated to dinner at Star Manti and what a treat it was! Located in a small and cozy restaurant in a strip mall in Delran, we stepped into a warm and inviting space by the Sheri – the cook, server and proprietress. We shared the Karisik Meze Tabagi (Mixed Appetizer Plate) which was delicious. Turkish style appetizers such as stuffed grape leaves (Zeytinyagli Yaprak Dolma), potato salad, eggplant shakshuka, hummus, tabbuli and mixed vegetables with warm pita bread was delicious and was perfect for the four of us to share. I ordered the Uludag soda (the traditional mixed fruit flavor) and the Adana Kebab, a Turkish style kofta served with amazing butter laced rice and fresh Coban Salatsi (Shepherd Salad) made of cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, peppers and parsley in a fresh lemon and olive oil dressing. Others at the table ordered Kuru Faulye (white beans cooked with lamb), Nohut (chickpeas cooked with lamb), Sis Kebab (lamb shish kebab) and all of the dishes were delicious, flavorful and served with their delicious rice and salad. To finish we shared the Firinda Sutlac (baked rice pudding) which was garnished with cinnamon and pistachios, washed down with perfectly made Turkish Coffee. A wonderful evening of fantastic food that transported us from a New Jersey strip mall to the world of the Ottomans. Harika bir restoranda lezzetli bir şölen. Fantastik!
