We dined at the cafe which is very tastefully decorated and furnished. The service was great and my meal was superb - fish with fresh veggies and salad. My partner ordered the chicken parmigiana which was unfortunately burnt underneath. He brought this to the attention of the staff when he located someone and was offered a replacement. What User doesn't like about Delrock Cafe:
This was one of the few places open on your typical Thursday night in a Tassie country town. Like many of these types of pubs, meals can be a bit of a lottery. As a lamb lover, the roast lamb meal I ordered wasn't too bad. Shame about the chicken snitznel my partner ordered - overcooked, dry and tough. Not all that cheap for a pub either. View all feedback.

Stopped in here one night by chance, so glad we did. A beautifully restored hotel with great amenities and excellent dining room. We sat by the open fire, enjoyed a great meal while being waited attentively by very good young people.I would definitely stop in...More

Ordered lamb cutlets x2 along with a pizza and a scotch. Waited 45 minutes before asking how much longer the meals would be to be told "a few minutes". Meals finally arrived - I was greeted with a plate containing a small rack of lamb with burnt bones on the end, so burnt they just snapped off. The "mint jus" that was supposed to accompany it tasted of no mint but luke warm tasteful gunk with burnt bits floating in it. When questioned the waitress said the chef prefers to cook it as a rack because it's more tender!! I actually burst into laughter. Why advertise a meal as cutlets when it's clearly not. So angry and can safely say I'll never return. And when you have an open kitchen it's not ideal to be seen sniggering and rolling your eyes for your patrons to see. Kudos on the pizza though, that was cooked nicely. I'd know because I helped finish it as my lamb was nothing to write home about
We enjoyed Del Rock. Fast friendly service, great meal and a beautifully renovated room. Well worth the visit.
