Panera Bread - Delaware

Let me start by saying that I used to enjoy Panera. For me it was definitely a step over fast food and everything was always clean and fresh. This was the first time in this Panera location (Lewis Center) in a while, definitely first time after Covid. I needed a few minutes to realize that I had to order the kiosk, no problem. I ordered a Pecan braid and hazelnut coffee. Had to get the coffee itself, again, no problem except that they were from hazelnuts. I got my pecan braid from a very surly woman I had just heard with the f word from behind the counter, okay. I have to work to disguise a stale pecan braid that looked like it passed yesterday. The whole shop looked sloppy, coffee spills everywhere, tables unclean. That was 8:00 in the morning and there were only two other people there, I can't imagine it's so dirty. I understand the shortage of staff, but this does not mean that your customer service should resort to people who need to order their own articles and not even get a welcome in response to coming to the restaurant. I gave Panera 3 chances last year, and that was the last. Very disappointing to spend $6 for food I had to.

I found a fly in my sandwich, not once but twice. I know what you?re thinking, ?well why order from their again?? well I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. This time has definitely made up my mind. This will be the absolute last time I order from Panera, and I will definitely be telling my friends and family about my experience so they don?t have to experience this!

I go to this Panera almost every day for lunch. This is really the only place nearby that offers a great lunch deal with a low calorie count. However, I have been having issues with their salads. I usually get the pick 2 with a sandwich and a half salad. Recently, the quality of the salads have taken a down turn. The first few times I visited, the salads were green, leafy, and full of color. Now, they are half green/half yellow and have a lot of white lettuce stems that offer little to no nutritional value. The soups and sandwiches are almost always up to par. That is the reason for the 3 stars. This Panera would get a better review if they would step their salad game up.

? Don?t earn 1 star!!! That's all. They have foreign substances in their food that are completely unacceptable. I guess this is common for other reviews. I should have read them before I go there! POOR SERVICE AND SUPER RUDE GIRL of a MANAGER. She doesn't deserve to work, time. They spilled my drink and gave it to me. They accused me ridiculously for a wrong other and left me with food for 5 people! And worse I couldn't even eat after I saw a piece of wood in the salad. Do you want to love your life?

I mean, it's Panera... It's nice to sit and work... But coffee is usually lukewarm and they run out of some things in the early afternoon. This is likely for the course, although most paneras... Heaven forbids too much bread...
