The lady at the counter was so sweet and nice. I came in it was empty and ordered a pizza right away. The undercarriage isn’t really how I like it but the crust makes up for it in the end. All in all was a great pizza and I would give it another try if I’m close. View all feedback.
What Jean Ciavardini doesn't like about Forno Bello Wood Fired Pizza Italian Cuisine:
We would never, ever go back there again. A party of 4, while 3 received their meals, the 4th meal arrived long after everyone was finished eating. No contact with the server as to why, no offering of a refill in drinks. She totally ignored our table, knowing that the restaurant was in the wrong. Never, never again. View all feedback.

My family I decide to go this restaurant Friday night as an early Mother’s Day dinner. It was all of our first time trying this restaurant. My husband, daughter and I walked into the restaurant at 7:35pm and were abruptly thrown off by the smell, but brushed it off. In seconds were immediately greeted by the host. She quickly assumed it was just us and was looking for a table of three we informed her were a party of six and a baby. She asked us to wait a moment she walked around. She came back and informed us. It would be a 45 minute wait, so worst case I’m thinking 8:15 PM. She comes to us with great news at 7:45 PM and sits us down because the table cleared up at this point. My full party is here and we’re all seated. She only placed two menus on the table and three silverware’s although we’re a party of six and a baby, 25 minutes later it was 8:10 PM and we have yet to be asked for our beverages and no server has acknowledged us just kept walking by us as if we weren’t even there. At this point, we quickly realize the service is going to be terrible and not match the prices. Appetizers $15-$20 entrees $25+. So we decided to go across the street to a Cuban restaurant. We had a great time at the other restaurant, we recommend you and your family go there for better service and great food with live music!
My family of six attempted to have dinner at a restaurant. However, when we were seated, we were only given two menus and no server came back to take our orders. The servers walked around us, completely ignoring us. We were not offered water, drinks, or food. The service was terrible, and I do not recommend this restaurant. Disappointed, after 25 minutes. we decided to leave and walked across the street to a Cuban restaurant that had great live music, fantastic cocktails, and delicious food.
Used to come here all the time and loved it! Decided to come back two years later, drove an hour just for the cremini mushroom pizza. The food was delicious! When it came to the service I was pretty shocked and disappointed (with our original server). We sat around 7:40 and waited 20 minutes before our drinks came. At 8:30 I requested bread for the table because we still hadn’t had any food come out. Food finally came around 8:45, and one of the entrees did not come as described. When we expressed our confusion and our displeasure with the long wait we were brushed off. The server stated how busy and short staffed they were which was why it took so long but as a server myself and the volume in the restaurant it didn’t seem to add up. Suddenly a new server approached us asking how everything was and addressed our issues. She was very kind and attentive! Our previous server never returned or checked in and just transferred us to another server. I understand having a bad night, we just felt very forgotten about and disregarded by the first server. In the end the second server was very accommodating and kind!
Had a lovely dinner there with family to celebrate our Aunt's bday, who was looking forward to a wood fired pizza, only to find out that was the one thing they ran out of. Other than that, the food was delicious, service was great, atmosphere is nice, and hoping to go back for pizza next time! Parking: Parking is across the street, but if Downtown DeLand is really busy (which it typically is) you may need to park in one of the many public parking lots around the area and walk to your destination. There is a free parking garage as well.
