C's Waffles Deland

I waited 15 minutes for my drink order and placed my food order, but after 20 more minutes, I still hadn't received my breakfast. It felt like we were stuck in the corner, completely forgotten. We ended up sitting there for a total of 35 minutes without any food, so we decided to leave feeling dissatisfied and went to IHOP instead. I really wish it was still Mr. Lucky's, even though the original sign is still hanging on the wall. At least our breakfast at IHOP was great!

The food was excellent, and the service was also impressive. I would return in an instant!

My first and last visit to this restaurant was nothing short of dreadful. I ordered a BLT with fries, and the bacon was overcooked to the point of being inedible—more like roof shingles than food. The fries were undercooked and soggy. My son chose the Chicken and Waffles, but the batter on the chicken was so thick that it completely overshadowed the chicken itself, and the waffles were barely cooked. My daughter-in-law ordered breakfast with a side of pancakes, which cost $6.50 for two pancakes. She had to request the second pancake, and it took an additional ten minutes to arrive. The worst part of the experience was the poor service. I would recommend avoiding this place and opting for Waffle House instead, where at least you'll be seated promptly at a clean table that isn’t sticky.

Excellent service with delicious chicken and waffles! The meal was quick, hearty, and the overall atmosphere was delightful!

This unassuming place has a big heart and serves generous portions that offer great value. We often come here for family breakfast gatherings. The "Southern Mess" along with their specialty pancakes and waffles are a must-try!
