Angelina's Pizzeria - DeLand

My friend and I recently visited this restaurant since we're not locals and were looking for something tasty and quick—and we certainly found it! Our server was fantastic, and the spinach and artichoke dip was absolutely delicious. I couldn't have asked for better food or service. We will definitely return; this has become our new favorite place!

Wow, there was a bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it! The pizza was incredible, and the garlic knots were delicious too.

My friend and I dined at Angelina's Pizzeria tonight, March 30, 2022. Our waitress was excellent; I can't recall her name, but we arrived at around 7 PM, and she mentioned that she's also a school teacher. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the space is perfectly sized—not too big, just right. As soon as you walk in, the aroma from the kitchen is incredibly inviting. I walked in hungry, but by the time I sat down, I was absolutely starving. I highly recommend Angelina's Pizzeria and will certainly be returning.

Angelina's has always been a family favorite in the greater DeLand area, and for good reason—the food is fantastic. However, I had one disappointing experience last night. I'm not sure if they have a new chef who might not have Italian restaurant experience, but my pizza came topped with American cheese, which was unexpected. I ordered Chicken Parmesan through DoorDash, but instead received Shrimp Parmesan. Normally, that wouldn't be a big deal, but the smell was absolutely terrible—it's a word I rarely use. The odor from the sauce made me gag. Overall, Angelina's is an amazing place, but if there are new kitchen staff, they could certainly benefit from some training.

Our waitress Jamie is exceptional! She always ensures we have a wonderful experience. The manager, Stephanie, is also fantastic. They both make us feel so welcomed. The food is consistently delicious. We make the drive from Altamonte nearly every weekend just to dine here. Great job, everyone!
