Contribute FeedbackPrescott's Restaurant in Rochester has garnered a mix of reviews from customers. While some appreciate the quiet atmosphere and the ability to converse easily, others have found the average food and above-average costs to be a drawback. One reviewer specifically enjoyed the vodka chicken dish and praised Chef Chris for the menu creativity. Another guest highlighted the accommodating owners and the delicious dishes, including the morel-season chicken. The attentive staff, great bread selection, and homemade desserts have also received positive mentions. Despite being located in a mall, Prescott's is described as a hidden gem with excellent food and wine options. A unique underwater ambiance and a variety of dishes, including Ensenada clams and raw oysters, have impressed patrons, making this restaurant a recommended choice for any occasion.
"The restaurant offers excellent food, top-notch service, delectable desserts, a fantastic selection of wine, and delicious Vietnamese coffee. A lovely dinner for two with a bottle of wine comes to a total of $100."
The food at this restaurant is exceptional and served in a relaxed atmosphere. The waitress was attentive and helpful, enhancing our overall experience. They offer 3 different types of bread, all made in-house and delicious. I always make sure to stop by on my way out of town to grab some bread for my friends. The salad was fantastic and the vodka chicken pasta (a house specialty) was cooked perfectly with a tasty sauce. The seasonal specials keep things interesting. All desserts are made in-house and looked amazing. We shared the ice cream sundae with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache, which was a delightful treat big enough for 4 people to share. We will definitely be returning for dinner when we come back to Mayo and Golf.
Prescott's is renowned as Rochester's top spot for delicious cuisine, excellent service, and a tranquil atmosphere, making it our go-to for a satisfying dining experience.
The drowned toast and the tuna fillet toast were very delicious. The fish had good flavor but was a bit dry for my taste. The vegetables had a very strong smoked flavor for my liking and tasted more like smoke than roasted, but what matters to me is the flavor of the main dish. The Clamato drinks with shrimp and the Piña Colada with Baileys were delicious. The only suggested change would be to roast the vegetables instead of smoking them. Overall, very good.
The atmosphere is very pleasant with ambient music and good food. The service is good. Recommended.
