We had lunch here and was rather surprised on the quality of the food for the price you can't go wrong with a main meal and a wine/soft drink for $9.90. The serving a quite large and you can also help yourself to a vegetable/salad bar. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cattle Yards Inn:
sheep and goat the inn used to eat mouthwater, e.g. mixed grill, parma, Greek salad etc. I'd take her home regularly. but since the new owners have taken over (2022,) eating lacks quality taste very different than the food I loved to order. a shame. The cattle yards inn have a beautiful meal, Well worth coming down to grab a bite to eat!! There parmas are beautiful and big! The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 isn't because of the food, But because of the 2 young children (3-10 years of age) running around the kitchen. Seems VERY unsafe and unhygienic. They kept coming in and out of the kitchen which was quiet annoying for our table being that we were near the kitchen. The little girl kept pointing a laser at my face. Was super annoying and I really didn't think young children would be aloud in a commercial kitchen seems unprofessional and unhygienic.... But other than that the meal was fantastic. I cant believe how quiet it is being that the meals are so lovely!
We went with friends back in Feb for lunch. Looks a bit tired outside but nice inside. Great food reasonably priced and great service. I had the Southern Fried Chicken Burger which was very nice and my wife had the roast. Will return again soon.
