Fast friendly service. Had the bratwurst on a bun. The bun was nice and soft. The mustard and sauerkraut were just right as they blended nicely with the sausage and did not over power in flavor.

The Beer Brat with Kraut was AMAZING!! The mustard on the beat was so delicious! My son got the Frito Pie with brisket and was the best frito pie I?ve ever had! The Black Forest is a little white food truck in the parking lot of Live Oak Brewery. Great place to come for great outdoor seating with top notch food and service.

Tasty, creative-yet-comforting German food right on the grounds of live oak brewery. a lot of space in the space. perfect place to play children while mothers and fathers with great food and bier chill. neil, the owner, is a really nice guy who remembers his customers and treats them well.

Was happy enough to try this at an Oktoberfest event in austin, shortly after I had ordered that they would expose this BRB sign for 5 to 10 minutes at a time, the waiting time was not long for my food, they were only understaffed or not able to take too many appendages at once. that was worth it! the scavenger was perfectly baked, with the ham hock croquettes amazing aromen, everything went well with the beer even her small glass scavenging, my only regret is that I no longer order food. they follow on social media would certainly go out of my way for a chance to dine with them again

Man, thank you so much!!! My grandma would?ve approved, and we were craving the best. As authentic as I have found in Austin. The cucumber salad is refreshing and took me back to my childhood. The schnitzel was crispy and lemony perfection. I even ate my vegetables? This is a local business to support! They?re open weekends now, but hopefully open every day soon as more businesses are able to open. Easy parking, shout out to Live Oak Brewing company. Really, WORTH supporting.
