Brigantine Seafood Oyster - DEL MAR

We’ve been going to the Brigantine for 40 years (yikes! , and we usually sit in the bar and have fish tacos and the best oysters Rockefeller in the world. Last night we ate in the restaurant like grown up’s and the food and service was spectacular.

We had Britney in the back and she was absolutely amazing. Never had service so amazing and attentive. We are coming back because of her and her wonderful personality and service.

Great service! Waiters are nice. All around good ambience.

This was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. Absolute perfection! Everything was fresh and flavorful. We requested a booth and got one. Our experience couldn’t have been better. We’ll be back soon!

A repeat customer, primarily for the menu selections, ambience, and service. I ordered the cioppino special and was quite disappointed, as it contained only a few shrimp and clams, but no fish, mussels, or crab meat, not the cioppino I know from many dishes I've had in San Francisco and Monterey. On the plus side, the tomato-wine sauce was excellent as well as the toasted sourdough for mopping up. The serving size was modest. almost appetizer sized, and not up to the standard I would expect for $27.
