Before we gave u... read more Since we had planned a lot during our wine trip to Die Pfalz, we were looking for dinners that have canceled most of our dinners in Deidesheim. Before we gave up, we called the Deidesheimer Stuben to ask if they were still able to cook Rumpsteak for us, as we were told it was a delicacies in the Palatinate, just a few hours earlier. Everything worked and we went to this restaurant. If you go in it, the beautiful old and real German feeling has it as all the places we visited in this area. Let's get the food to the main part. All we tried was FANTASTIC! Whether the potato soup or the carving with asparagus (scarving with asparagus), it was all good food. I must highlight my two favorites of this dinner. We were not sure what to expect from the appetizer variations record, but we were blown away from the look and taste of this menu. BRILLANT! And when you thought it couldn't be better, we got the Rumpsteak. My was cooked for perfection with delicious sauteed onions and herbal butter on the top. As a side I had roast potatoes that were also very good. Eating well with the kind (perfect service we were exposed to, makes me want to go there every night... RECOMMEND:

Getting here a little early in the evening helped in that regard. The...menu is a bit limited, but the entrees and apps are all solid (mostly regional specialties and the service is great. I came here with a former student and we ate well off one appetizer and one entree (which came with a very large salad . I don't recall the menu being in English, but if you have learned the words for some of the local specials (leberknodel, saumagen, bratwurst, etc. you should do fine.
