Initially we despaired of finding a decent cafe in Deggendorf but then we found Cafe Monokel and what a find! Super friendly staff, lovely ambience outside in the square and really good coffee and excellent apple cake. It was so relaxing on a hot...day in the middle of a long journey. I do not expect to be back unfortunately but if you are there, head for Monokel View all feedback.

price not justified. we were two to breakfast in the monocle. online was an breakfast for 2 people, which the service was not known and was not on the map. so everyone has ordered their own. no rolls, only baguette discs were attached to the breakfast. the sausage, cheese etc. all of good quality, but relatiw little for the price. At first we stopped to find a decent caffe in deggendorf, but then we found cafe monocle and what a sound! super friendly staff, beautiful ambiente outside on the place and really good coffee and excellent apfelkuchen. it was so relaxing on a hot day in the midst of a long trip. Behind the large wall of deggendorf, there is definitely a caffe that is worth visiting! the atmosphere is simply fantastic breakfast, lunch, coffee, everything you want

Located behind the great wall of Deggendorf, it is definitely a café worth visiting! The atmosphere is plainly awesome : Breakfast, Lunch, Coffee, anything you want :
