Hot Rice - Defiance

Love Love Love the food here....! Only 4 on atmosphere because the mall is pretty boring looking. But during lunch and supper there is a decent line for hot rice. This place has stood it's ground for sure. Everyone else just couldn't make it. People have tried but Hot Rice comes out on top. Love how they have card reader now as well. Because there were times in the past I really wanted it but didn't have cash on me. Now it's so easy. The portions are fantastic. The large is good enough for 2 or 1 pending on how hungry you are. And these are one of the places that after a good fire or a few drinks I'll pull out the leftovers and eat hot or cold. It's soo good Parking: They are plenty of entrances to the mall one closest to hot rice is the back cinema entrance. But you can walk through mall from front or the 2 retail stores connected to the mall as well

Food is always good, but not the friendliest service.

The food itself is actually really good! They do make special requests (like noodles no veggies) and it's fresh! The mall itself is falling apart and pretty dirty around there area, the lady that helps doesn't respond much and makes you feel uncomfortable when asking questions. However, it is good so I'll continue to visit when I want Chinese.

The food has been good since I was a teenager. The owners back then were amazing and felt like visiting family. The current owner is very rude and makes people feel very uncomfortable. People talk about her service on Facebook a lot. She even made her husband fire my cousin after he hired her because she was black.
