Deerfield Inn
Deerfield Inn
Description
The Deerfield Inn, a historic gem in Massachusetts, charms with its quaint atmosphere and attentive staff. Guests rave about outstanding service and delightful dishes, particularly the salads and classic offerings like fish and chips. However, recent visits reveal concerns over portion sizes and food temperature, with some diners expressing disappointment in their meals. While the inn provides modern amenities and hosts complimentary treats, some find the prices steep for the value offered. Despite mixed dining experiences, the welcoming ambiance and cozy accommodations make it a beloved spot for both relaxation and culinary exploration.

Waitress wasn't very friendly, seemed distracted. Otherwise the customer service overall was excellent. Highly recommend it. Service: 3
We stayed for one Saturday night in August as my son and daughter in law were participating in a triathlon in Greenfield. Very nice and quaint Inn. The rooms were comfortable, the grounds and area are adorable. The restaurant was also enjoyable. I would recommend this Inn and stay again on my next trip out there. Service: 4
I’m going with 4.1 overall. (The historic village of Deerfield gets the full 5.0 for sure). This Inn is quaint, certainly historic, and the staff polite, but I found it a bit pricey for a random Tuesday evening with nothing going on otherwise that would command the price. We needed an accessible room and got one on the second floor, close to the elevator so all worked out well. Room and bathroom clean. For what we came for and given our mobility restrictions, it was the right choice for us. NOTE: If you are a breakfast eater (which I’m not), breakfast really isn’t included, just coffee, juice, and a muffin, nothing special there.
