Have eaten at Stage, Carnegie, Ben's Best Delis in NY (all of which no longer exist), Katz's in NY, Bagel Snack in Pompano Beach, 1st. Street Deli and Pickle Barrel's pastrami tops themall. The pastrami is wonderfully tasty and perfectly prepared (not too fatty, not too lean), and there is a heaping, enormousamount of meat in the sandwich. All the other places pile the meat in the middle, but then they leave 30 40% of rest of thesandwich (around the edges of the bread) bare lol. That's nonsense lol. Don't claim that you make a huge heaping sandwich (whenhalf of it is empty) simply because you pile it up in the very middle lol. Not so with Pickle Barrel they pile up theirdelicious sandwich completely! Pickle Barrel is THE place to go if you want the best and most delicious sandwich around! Andthey have full sour pickles too just ask for it!

Love the chocolate rugelah, half sour pickles and macaroni salad. The place is small and extremely busy however they run the it like a well oiledmachine. Wish they opened a restaurant out west.
