Starbucks - Deer Park

The Starbucks Café is set in a typical rural area and features its own parking lot, along with a standalone building that includes reasonably clean restrooms. While I'm not a big fan of the usual crowded atmosphere at Starbucks, I sometimes opt to get a coffee from them because I can always count on a decent cup from any of their 500-plus locations I've visited over the past decade. Ultimately, it's a safer choice than trying out a local spot like Muddy Cup in a deli or bodega where I'm unfamiliar with the quality.

I don’t typically write reviews, but I was really impressed with the customer service at this location. I accidentally ordered a hot coffee instead of an iced coffee. After they had prepared my hot coffee, I mentioned my mistake, and they insisted on making me an iced coffee anyway. They told me to keep the hot coffee and share it with someone else to brighten their day. The staff was outstanding. Hats off to the DPA Starbucks!

The staff here are fantastic, and while their prices are on the higher side, I really enjoy their coffee. It's usually quite busy in the early mornings, so it's a good idea to plan ahead if you're heading there before work. Unfortunately, they don't have kosher milk available at the moment, but they do offer several pre-packaged foods with a proper hechsher. It's a nice shop overall, but I prefer to make my coffee at home rather than spending $3-6 for a cup.

A really great location, perfect for learning. There are tons of tables and cozy seating with new docks on the actual table for your phone. It gets quite loud, so if you are looking for a quiet spot, that is not (or wear nose decreasing headphones). I could work here all day. Warm atmosphere and staff are always pleasant!

This is perhaps my favorite Starbucks on Long Island. The staff is very kind and accommodating, and always have smiles on their faces. They're patient and almost always prepare your drinks exactly as you order them, not to mention they always taste wonderful and the frappuccinos aren't watery or tasteless (a pet peeve of mine). All of the baristas are wonderful and make the best drinks. They usually have a full stock of mugs, gifts, and food as well. The seating is nice, with a few plush chairs, an abundance of tables and seating, and a fireplace. I never regret coming back and highly recommend this Starbucks if you're in need of a drink fix!
