The Builders have just had renovations and a new menu. All good on both accounts but the portions - pretty lousy. Ordering the Pappardelle Pasta, main size, I was gob smacked by the size of this main menu dish. The plate, a bit like a ladies sun-hat turned upsidedown to hold the food, was the width of just 2 forks across the bowl for section that holds the food (see photo). This wasn't a mains size meal, nor was it an entree size meal - it was more like a Tappas sized serve from a Spainish bar in Madrid. Come on 'Builders' get it right - Good Food - Lousy Portions.

I discovered this restaurant known for its specialty dishes. The $20.00 all-you-can-eat deal on Wednesday nights is a fantastic value. The highlight of the menu is the 400 gram ribeye steak with garlic potatoes. It's a great deal for the price and the staff is excellent.

The restaurant recently underwent renovations and introduced a new menu. While the quality of food was good, the portion sizes were quite small. I ordered the pappardelle pasta in a main size portion, but was disappointed by the small serving. The plate was so small, it resembled a ladies' sun hat placed over the bowl to hold the food (see photo). Overall, the meal was more like a tapas size serving from a Spanish bar in Madrid rather than a proper main course. Despite this, the service from the staff was satisfactory.

We live close, so this is a good option if we don't like cooking, usually friendly bar staff and they decent margherita feel
