I've always enjoyed Liberty and Maine, but I felt that the shrimp appetizer was not quite up to standard this time. Additionally, I think the atmosphere could use a little updating. Quick service and friendly staff. The salmon was cooked to order and very tasty. I was disappointed that the waitress didn't let us know that the basket of bread was charged as an appetizer. This is the only restaurant I have ever been to in my life that didn't offer free bread with a meal.

It was so sweet and vinegary it was gross. We had the buffalo chicken rolls to start which clearly had just been cooked earlier and reheated. Served was more concerned about side work than tables. I would not eat here again. Terrible experience.
