I loved the place before but it's even better after the remodel, they have a great selection and lots of fresh produce. The store is full of otherwise hard-to-find ingredients that will wow your dinner guests or just feel good about eating better, healthier. It's also a great place to stop for a quick meal, their cold and hot bars have fantastic food, pair a sandwich and asalad with a drink and relax in their dining section that looks over the streetfront, or in the gazebo and tables outside.
Personnel were very helpful and loved the variety of products everything is about a dollar more expensive than other supermarket s but it's all organic and we were just across the street. They charge 20 a year up to 140.00 to become a member and you get19percent discount so it's a decent deal. Just keep in mind you get back your 20 with one purchase of 200.00 so it's not thatbad. Food was good and they have a lot to offer take a look.
Came to Decorah for my reunion and wanted to make sure I got to the coop for lefsa. Was not disappointed. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Love this place!
I’m visiting from out of town and wanted to support a local business while enjoying the experience of shopping at a small co-op. Yes, the prices are a bit higher, but if you go in knowing that and remember that the choices are high quality and organic, it's a wonderful experience. This might sound a bit silly, but I really appreciated being able to buy just one carrot or one stalk of celery since I was cooking for myself. I wanted to do a bit of baking while here, and the bulk options allowed me to get exactly what I needed without having a lot of extra ingredients going to waste. I also enjoyed the selection of local wines and beers; it was a fantastic one-stop shop to try out some local favorites. The employees were friendly and helpful, which made me feel right at home.
