We received a very warm welcome; the manager is lovely, welcoming, and very accommod... read more We walked the Camino de Santiago and booked two single rooms at this hotel. We received a very warm welcome; the manager is lovely, welcoming, and very accommodating. Dinner was delicious, the breakfast buffet was plentiful, and the rooms were very nice. We recommend this hotel without hesitation. Many thanks again!

A very friendly and warm welcome from Mrs. Malpel, a very pleasant hotel bar decorated in the colors of the SCD (for rugby fans), and a very cozy restaurant ser... read more A very friendly and warm welcome from Mrs. Malpel, a very pleasant hotel bar decorated in the colors of the SCD (for rugby fans), and a very cozy restaurant serving an excellent dinner with half-board. The hotel itself is more disappointing: noisy hallway, slamming doors, and grating bellhops, plus a bathroom straight out of the 70s. But the bedding is adequate and you sleep well... once everyone else is asleep and until the first person up wakes up. Breakfast is a bit light for walkers on the Camino de Santiago. The Malpel family is truly lovely.
