The apple cinnamon mule was probably the best drink I have had in months. The glazed pork chop was amazing. I highly recommend it. The crab dip was also very good, the chips they serve with it are the best part. View all feedback.

Taproot is fantastic! You have to try the duck tacos; they never fail to impress. If you're looking for something on a budget, the house salad with pan-seared salmon is excellent. The hot crab and bacon dip was incredible!
First time here and it was a great experience my only complaint is the smoke lounge next-door having to smell that while trying to enjoy my food was hard and had my allergies acting up other than that great place

Went there with some friends. Food was amazing and service was great. You should try the fried broccoli, it will change your life
Food was very good service was really about a four and a half. While our server was good trying to get water refills was challenging. On the menu it says root vegetables but it doesn't say which root vegetables.. when our server was taking my order I had asked for a salad until I found out they had brussel sprouts which by the way were delicious, I asked them to cancel my salad but they brought it anyway and still hit me with the upcharge. The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service is top-notch. The atmosphere is perfect for all ages. I will definitely be returning in the future!
This restaurant has the best Chicago-style hot dogs and fries in the city! The food is consistently fresh and hot, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place!
I love Taproot. The food is delicious. The hot rock appetizer is amazing. Although the service was not fantastic during our last visit, it is usually great.

Food is ALWAYS absolutely delicious, fresh, and different. Try the french onion soup, fish, filet, roasted cauliflower, lobster tacos with homemade slaw( to die for), pork chop. Everything I have eaten so far has been AMAZING!!! Servers aren't the greatest. I shouldn't have to ask for a refill on a drink, I would like them to ask how everything is after a couple bites of food, and to check again towards end of meal. I am a server and those two things are top priority at my job. These have all been times where the servers were NOT busy. Will return for both lunch and dinner!! UPDATE Aug.2, 2018: Jim has been our server, he is supurb!!! He remembers what we ordered last time, keeps drinks filled, and checks at appropriate times!! We will ask for him now anytime we go! Food continues to be delicious and consistant!!!
