Pink Cafe - Decatur

I would have enjoyed my meal at Eat if my lamb chops weren't burnt. I had to throw away $60 worth of food, which was very disappointing. The chef responsible should be fired. It was my first time dining at this place, and it was not a good experience.

My daughter had to wait an hour before receiving her order of 15 chicken wings and fries from this restaurant in the plaza. This wait time, even after waiting 35 minutes for the order itself, is unacceptable. The restaurant's phones were not working and their website was also down. This experience has left me feeling very disappointed.

I like to support local businesses in my community, so I decided to stop by the pink cafe to give them a try. I looked over the menu at the front counter and chose an item, but later realized there was a separate menu behind the counter with the same item listed at a higher price. I brought it to their attention, paid the difference, and waited for my order. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes, so I waited in my car. When I returned, my order still wasn't ready. I ended up ordering wings and fries for my son who was suddenly hungry, and left again. When I came back 15 minutes later, my order still wasn't ready. Finally, after some time, my order came out but the portion size was extremely small. I mentioned this as well, but decided to just take what I had been waiting for. The side dishes were large but lacking in flavor. When I got home, I was disappointed. The salmon was overcooked, the rice was bland, and the mac and cheese had a strange taste. I tried a bite of my son's yams and ended up giving it back to him. Overall, I felt like I had wasted my time and money. I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations.

Excellent food, value, serviceI enjoy my dining experience every time I patronize the pink cafe. Nothing about my experience says fast food. The lamb chops of my favorite dish, mainly because I can’t order quality lamb anywhere, but you really can’t go wrong with any item on the menu. Definitely worth a visit!

I ordered for myself and children, we had the turkey chops w/Yellow rice. Grilled chicken breast with Mac and cheese, and wings with fries. It has to be the worst food I've had. The rice is bland, the meats had no flavor and had a rotten taste. The wings were undercooked and burnt. I spent 45 dollars, waited 20 mins for bad food. People don't go there you will regret it. These people should not be in business.
