Piece Of Cake Inc. - Decatur

The first time here after ppl say how good these cakes were .went and never so disappointed by a cake it was so dry and I tried 2 different types I was never so upset about a chocolate cake because I was really excited about it.

I had a cupcake from this place today and since I ate it, I really feel sick. I feel like I ate an old Stale cake with spoiled cream cheese Frosting. I'll stick to nothing rich cake from now on, their cakes are fresher.

I just wanted cake today. I made a Google search and came over this place. I got five different slices. Go to the counter, no Hello, no reception, no you found everything in order, NOTE. She didn't even look at me. The first thing she said after cleaning up my cake, were you a rewarding member? I said no, this is my first time here, and she just said... Do you not want to encourage new customers to participate in such things? Or at least do you tell them??? Really sad, because the cakes were all pretty good. However, customer service would prevent me from going back.

Best cake ever, very, very moist. Every flavor cake imaginable. Service was awesome as well!

Sold me a stale Cake TWICE. I normally come here for the 5-layer bars, but decided to get a pound cake because they were sold out. First cake was stale/dry and soggy/wet at the bottom looked like it was spit at the bottom, letting me know it had been sitting. I live 2 hours away but Luckily I noticed this while I was in the area so I returned back to the store only for them to give me another cake and LIE and say it was baked the same day!!!!!! NOW HAD THEY BEEN HONEST, and said it was baked 3-4 days ago I would have just gotten a refund. But NO, THEY LIED. So I take the new cake home and low and behold its DRY AS HELL AND CRUMBLING INTO PEICES. I CALLED AND THEY HAD NO SOLUTION. I knew my cake was messed up because I checked the slices in the store and they weren't soggy/wet at the bottom and were dry looking in the center! SELF EXPLANATORY. This is ridiculous. No other bakery serves STALE WHOLE CAKES like this. If you order from here, just prepared to receive a stale cake that's been sitting.
