What Justin Case doesn't like about Mela Ethiopian Kitchen:
The service was lacking hard. We had a party of 4. They had no physical menu or qr code to scan so our server had to yell the menu to us over the music. She was also overwhelmed from what I could tell. Whoever was managing the floor wasn't doing a good job. The server told us they were out of wings and then 20 minutes later they had wings, it took another 30-40 mins to serve them. We order more drinks and those took... View all feedback.
This is really good food; the best of both worlds Filipino Soul food! The chef owner is super nice as well as the staff, this is more like eating at a friend's place because they're so welcoming.

Just tried this place with my family and they couldn't stop talking about it. The lumpia is very crispy and light as well as the fried okra. Mom is hard to please and she was very satisfied! We also had the chicken Sisig Special. My dad really enjoyed the flavor and he is a great cook! We are very happy these people have represented the Filipino cuisine that we LOVE! Will definitely be returning soon!!!
Delicious! I'd never had Filipino food before and now I'm sold. Fantastic, prompt service, reasonable prices, very relaxed atmosphere. I had the shrimp lumpia, you which was yummy. My date had the chicken adobo, which was fantastic! Looks they're still just getting started. Come give them your money so they can stay open!
The food here is absolutely amazing. I always get the adobo chicken with rice, greens and Mac n Cheese. The mint lemonade is heaven sent. The owners are husband and wife and always so kind. They deserve all of the business. Def support as there are close to no Filipino restaurants in and around the city! Good eating!
