Got the CEO and honestly it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. The combo of the egg, onion, and sauce was good as heck. They also have hilarious mugs and stuff to buy. If you care about atmosphere it could be more lively, but who cares, the food will make up for it all. View all feedback.
What Louis Alleva doesn't like about Effin Egg:
You could not customize the food. For instance I wanted to add turkey sausage to a sandwich. They sell turkey sausage sandwiches, but if it's not already on that particular sandwich you can add bacon but not turkey bacon or turkey sausage. On top of that the people working there spoke minimal English, so communicating what you wanted was difficult. I've been wanting to try this place for quite sometime. I finally had the opportunity and I enjoyed my visit. The food was good. I ordered bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich w/a side of tater tots orange juice. It looks like a very trendy breakfast joint in Downtown Decatur. I went there at a time of day that it wasn't too busy which was helpful. There wasn't a long wait for ordering my receiving my food. I also ate it there. Overall was a very positive experience.
First off, the lady at the counter is rude as hell. I didn’t even order I just walked out. I came in today at 1:32 on 3/15. She is sitting there eating on her phone doesn’t even say hello. Secondly, they have a touch menu she doesn’t show us what todo or anything just sits and watches her phone like that’s why she’s there. We walked right out, didn’t even bother messing with the screen

This would have been a non issue if the kiosks allowed you to have it your way.If you're going to have kiosk ordering, then you should have all the choices. I can add anything Chick-fil-A makes to any sandwich. Adding non pork options to a sandwich should be an easy ask.
First time here, you have to order online on at the kiosk when you get there. The only downside to ordering on the kiosk is there isn 't a place to say things like no sauce, fried hard, or anything like that. The two workers don 't speak English very well, so explaining that we didn 't want the avocado sauce was difficult. Sorry, but nothing here had much flavor. There wasn 't anything about it that stood out. 6.7/10Parking: There is paid parking around the corner. Good luck finding street parking.
Order the OG meal and Effin TotsBest breakfast I have ever order in all honesty. The Effin tots were effin delicious. Already recommended to a friend.
