Every city I’ve been to has that one “hole in the wall” place that has the best Vegan food I’ve ever had. This is the spot for Atlanta. I had the okra, Mac and “cheese”, and the “beef”. Everything was absolutely amazing. The portions you get for the price are Ridiculous. 10 out of 10 View all feedback.
What Joanne Casper doesn't like about Chelsea's Bakery And Vegetarian:
I have reason to suspect that the macaroni and cheese is not vegan at this restaurant. When I asked a staff member about the cheese they used, they pointed me to a brand with pasteurized milk listed as the first ingredient. When I brought up the issue of the non-vegan cheese, the staff member became confrontational. I was disappointed and left without getting a satisfactory answer. View all feedback.
Eating is great. the mac and the cheese are amazing. whoever said that this food is tasteless must have been crazy because my teller was bangin! my omni daughter also loved it.
I frequently this place a lot especially for Sunday dinner.
This place food is nasty as all getout. Over cooked, over sweet and just plain ewwww. The service is ghetto. If you are a newbie you can not taste anything so if you buy something and don't like it, you just wasted your money. The patties were dry and burned. If your going here to support a black business fine but if you're going to eat don't do it.
Everything is vegan and the baked goods are also gluten free. We got lasgana, mac and cheese, collards, okra, bbq tofu, lo mein, chocolate cake and walnut blueberry carrot cake. It was all delicious, the portions were huge, and we spent approx $30. To-go buffet style so no waiting, but it was all very fresh. Must try!!!
This place is definitely on my radar. Its good food at a great price. The selections vary daily. They have recently started serving gf cakes as well as regular dessert cake options.
