Food is very flavorful and is served in large portions, you will definitely get your money’s worth. Staff if very sweet and attentive. Would definitely recommend this place.

EDIT: while we was upset about the dessert they made up for it when we went and got a cake for my mom and they played happy birthday music for my mom so gotta up the rating. We had already ate beforehand but the food looked really good

They didn't even start serving food until after iftar time, and by that point, there was a long line of people waiting. I saw people breaking their fast while still in line, waiting for 20 minutes! Absolutely unacceptable! The food was below average, and it didn’t even feel like a proper buffet. We had made a reservation in advance, but they were running low on food! We ended up having to go to another restaurant afterward. I will not be going back there again—ever!

I can't say enough great things about Lava Java Cafe. I've been through all the hookah bars in Dearborn, but this is the only lounge I regularly visit. Hookahs... read more I can't say enough great things about Lava Java Cafe. I've been through all the hookah bars in Dearborn, but this is the only lounge I regularly visit. Hookahs are always on point, large food and drink menu, and great service. Also, plenty of large TVs all around the lounge so its a great place to watch sporting events and UFC fights. Wally, the owner, is always around, so if anything isn't up to par, he always takes care of things for us. Without hesitation, 5 stars! This place never disappoints!
