This hidden gem is a fantastic spot to stop for a cute new photo, and maybe a brunch date. Service was a little slow, and prices were a little high, but I'd recommend giving this place a try. I got some great photos here, and a good milkshake.Food: 4/5 View all feedback.
What Madison June dislikes about La Fork:
I took my family here for lunch because I really enjoy this place. Everything was fantastic until we had to wait 25 minutes just for crepes. Normally, I’m not one to complain, as I understand how challenging the restaurant business can be. However, a young woman and a man on a cellphone talked loudly the entire time we waited, which felt very rude since we had somewhere to be. Instead of working, they spent time goss... LaFork is a great place! Delicious food and an incredible staff/management! They kindly support field trips and make the whole experience wonderful for the kids! Thank you from the French students at Clarenceville High School!
It was Canada day yesterday and what other place to go to then a place that is known for their poutine. It was so delicious, will defiently go back
Great food, great service. I'm a big fan of both poutine and crepes and I can easily say that we've got one of the best makers of both right in our backyard. So far, I've been a couple of times and had steak fajita poutine (with garlic sauce instead of sour cream) and the chicken shawarma poutine. Both were absolutely killer. I've also had both their Banana and Very Berry crepes (I opted for their house-made berry compote on the latter). Easily a couple of the best crepes I've ever had (if not the best). I hope to see these guys on the corner of West Village and Howard for quite some time.
This Poutine is fantastic! It is some of the best I've had outside of Canada and the variety offered is superb. My favorite is the Chicken Shawarma Poutine. Service is always very friendly and fast. Great place for lunch in Dearborn. The crepes are a great treat too!

Came in off a whim just off of word of mouth! The ambiance was amazing and the customer service was superb!!! The gentlemen behind the counter they were just perfect ?? . My niece ordered the Very Berry Crepe and I had the OG chicken sandwich! Good Lords willing we will be back soon ?
Visited for the first time today and the owner was such a kind and welcoming person. The decor is beautiful and the crêpe and poutine I tried were delicious! The cook was kind as well and told us everything on the menu. The food is made right in front of you so it’s fresh and warm. I would definitely come back and recommend!
To begin this review: 5 years ago my son received a $10 gift card in the 3rd grade. He never lost it, and persisted to use it over this time. Due to my early morning work schedlue and La Fork's business hours (3:00pm-11:00pm) I was never able to get to La Fork until now. They honored my son's gift card from 5 years ago without any hesitation. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was very good. The food was so good it made me regret not coming here earlier than now. The restaurant is clean with a relaxing atmosphere.I highly recommend this restaurant.
Nice place foe your sweet tooth does me a nice strawberry with fervor roches and Nutella milkshake and crepes nice people one time came in at their closing time and got a complimentary lil drink which was peeciated nice people.
I was looking forward to trying this place. It's a small restaurant and initially my friend, her daughter and me were the only people there. We ordered. I ordered the grill chicken wrap combo (comes with fries and can soda). My friend ordered the OG chicken sandwich (sauce on side) and cheeseburger combo for her daughter. Good thing: food was cooked to order and comes out fresh. Here's where our experience became a challenge: I ordered a grilled chicken wrap and the cook made a sub instead. When I pointed that out to him, he became frustrated (not my fault the cashier rang in the wrong thing). He remakes my food. I get my wrap and see my fries are burnt. I didn't enjoy it. I decided not to ask for new fries bc once again the cook was in a mood and I'm not the one. My friend's chicken sandwich was returned bc the sauce wasn't on the side (as requested). The cook put her chicken patty back in the fryer and got new buns out. Her sandwich and fries also burnt! The cheeseburger didn't look appetizing at all either. My friend and her daughter got a scope of ice cream (I wanted a milk shake but changed my mind after dealing with the cook, who also scoped the ice cream). My friend's butter pecan ice cream had huge chunks of ice in it. The ambience here is nice but the staff not so much (at least on the night we went 4/12). I'll pass on returning here. I honestly could've made a better chicken wrap at home.
