I don't go anywhere else for baked goods anymore other than here, and that says a lot about myself as a fat guy...Update: Food is still good, guy still amazing, but if his staff wants to push family and friends instead of a line like everyone else, I can't afford 30 minutes waiting, or not picking up the phone. I randomly stopped at this restaurant and decided to order what the girl at the counter recommended - it was delicious and affordable. I will definitely be returning!

The meatloaf was very soggy, and the vegetarian option only had vegetables without cheese, so it all came out when you took a bite. The cheesecakes were decent.
I love the cheesecake the brot is warm and fresh this place is my way for manate the staff is very friendly and treat them like family
Al Watan bakery NEVER DISAPPOINTS!!! This family owned bakery has DELICIOUS pie options to choose from! They also make special manousha! My favorite is the turkey pie manousha! Don’t be fooled by those aggressive comments below; this place is AWESOME! I drive all the way from Ann Arbor at least weekly for their pies and their turkey manoucha!!! Their food is so delicious and hits the spot! They have never disappointed in their food and their customer service. I’ve always been treated with respect their customer service has always been great. I’m somewhat a regular customer and I’ve experienced rude customers come in, act entitled, and rude to the employees and the owners in regards to the timing because their families are hungry. Most of the time I’m in and out. A couple of times i’ve waited patiently giving their so busy and their so many of them working non stop. The aggressive comments below in regards to timing and how long food hasn’t learned patiences. People just need to understand that a place this good will always be busy, so if your not patient during their busy times just don’t go there!! However, to try to slander and shout-out another location because of how you approached the people working tells a lot about your character.Support your local family business!!!Thanks!!
