**A Mixed Bag of Experiences at Local Indian Eatery**
Diners at this Indian restaurant have experienced a striking contrast in service and food. While some raved about the flavorful dishes like Chicken Tikka Masala and Goat Curry, complemented by attentive staff and a welcoming atmosphere, others recounted a frustrating experience marred by poor service and inconsistency. Many noted the deliciousness of the offerings, such as Aloo Palak and sweet Peshawari naan, praising the chef's personal touch. However, discrepancies in how patrons were treated left a sour note for some, suggesting a lack of uniformity in service. Overall, this establishment remains a point of contention among local food lovers.

The Indian food served here is incredibly flavorful. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Goat Curry, which had a nice kick to it. Both dishes were very delicious! The garlic naan was also excellent. Overall, a great dining experience!
I visited this restaurant a month ago and promised to come back the next time I was in the capital. As soon as I stepped inside, I felt reassured that I had made the right choice. With a...
Very tasteful Indian food served here. we ordered chicken tikka masala and goat dish (very sharp.) so tasteful! we also ordered sweetbiryani and so delicious. beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. the chef personally came and greeted us and explained the dishes. we loved it and will come back.
I was really impressed by this restaurant. My wife and I are big fans of Indian cuisine, and we both agree that this is the best Indian restaurant in Canberra.
We had a terrible experience here tonight. the service was absolutely terrible. when we arrived and gave our reservation details, we were caught and waved in the general direction of a baptism of tables. it took a while to get the menus and order for even longer. it was quite calm, there was a big group, but they almost ended their meal. We have now observed that others arrive and are treated completely differently as we were. when we had ordered ourselves, the waiter treated us as if we hadn't ordered fast enough, and then he was mocking us for our choices. he took the wrong thing that we share our curries and laughed for the order of 2 who taste exactly the same in his words! . I know that it is not really true and we just told him that it doesn't matter to us that he lets us rest. we asked for Naan bread, rice and pappadams for the table (of 2) and ended only 1 servier of naan and 1 servier of rice. the pappadams never appeared, although we were told that it was coming. the portions were an absolute sweat. we continued to observe other diners who were treated completely differently, such as we were asked, others were asked how they liked their curries mild/medium/imagelike etc., while we were not asked and we noticed that other people were treated in a more friendly way while we were ignored, drunk and mocked. we will never return there again. eating was quite normal and was not even close to what I would describe as good. there are more definite options for Indian food out there in canberra for eating and service. overall it was an hour of my life that I will never come back. it was terrible.
