What Debbie C doesn't like about Golden Lake Chinese Restaurant:
Very disappointed with the Saturday night buffet. The noodles were dry and hard, and everything was warm to cool. There were about 4 bins with no food in them and the others had small amounts. If you are going for a buffet and paying buffet prices then the food should be available to you, you should't have to wait for more to be cooked to finish your meal. View all feedback. What astrid n likes about Golden Lake Chinese Restaurant:
Not the greatest meal but adequate. The menu is huge and confusing, probably too much choice for such a small place, but the food was reasonably good. It wasn’t piping hot, one dish was bland and another over spiced, but perhaps there are other dishes that would be considered delicious. Not a write off on the basis of one meal! View all feedback.

read moreGolden Lake Chinese Restaurant offers a typical Canadian Chinese dining experience with dishes like fried rice, crispy beef, and s&s chicken balls. Despite some negative reviews about the buffet experience, many customers have praised the fresh and tasty food, friendly staff, and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant also offers a la carte options for those looking to explore their authentic Chinese menu. Overall, this hidden gem outside of Algonquin Park seems to impress visitors from near and far, making it a recommended spot for Chinese food in the area.

Food was delicious. Kind of expensive but worth the money. Check out the buffet if you are there on the weekends.
Our late father and mother in laws would eat here. We enjoyed tonight in honour of them.
