What bsasric doesn't like about Fortune Hawaii:
Previously all my food orders were consistantly good. Food was fresh and cooked/fried just right. For the past couple of years since the new owner(s), most meals were over cooked and seemingly not of the same quality. Egg rolls previously were loaded with fresh crispy vegetables, now they are soft and mushy! Nothing special to look forward to anymore. After this last visit, I will not be back. Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!! Honestly, don't even bother with the other chinese takeout places in the area. Fortune Hawaii is the absolute best!!! Generous, delicious portions, wonderful flavor, and outstanding quality right here. We order each week. Especially tasty is the Sesame chicken, which is lightly battered and fried, then tossed in a fantastic sesame sauce. Also, it's fresh, LARGE pieces of white meat chicken. Unlike other places that use dried out, small pieces of dark meat chicken that is very questionable. Here you are getting the real thing everytime! Other dishes that are extremely tasty include the Shrimp Pad Thai, and Roast Pork Egg Foo Young, and the lo mein is fabulous too. Order here, you'll never be disappointed.
