This is a fantastic spot to grab a drink. The bartender was extremely friendly and checked in on us several times. However, the drink selection is somewhat limited, especially on a Monday evening. View all feedback.
What Joleen Brenner doesn't like about Dugout Lounge:
The name is misleading. The only steak they offer is Chislic, which was really good. There's a very strong moldy smell, probably because the building is old. Service was good, but they were busy and it took 10-15 minutes after we seated ourselves to get a server. View all feedback.
I chose to visit this restaurant based on the positive reviews from Yelp and TripAdvisor. The food was decent, and the staff were attentive. However, the atmosphere left something to be desired, giving off a distinct dive bar vibe. They do offer a kids' menu with just two options, but it doesn't seem particularly kid-friendly. I might have been mistaken in thinking they aimed to attract fans of Laura Ingalls Wilder, given the name. On the other hand, perhaps it’s actually geared more towards baseball enthusiasts.
Our group of five had a great dining experience. It's a lovely spot to relax and socialize, and the staff were fantastic. Thank you!

The food and service were excellent. The cheese curds are particularly delicious!
The Prime and Shrimp dishes for the Valentine's special were amazing! The service was prompt and personal.
