Upon a failed plan for Old Sugar Mill Pancake House (the state park was at capacity plus a 4 hour wait), we happened upon this adorable, homey breakfast/lunch spot. We got the traditional breakfast with coffees, a cinnamon roll, and a pistachio muffin. Everything tasted amazing, we specifically loved the homemade bread for toast. We are so glad we stopped and found this place instead! View all feedback.
What Julie Pinner doesn't like about Karlings Inn/twin Brother Bakery:
We have been to a few different German restaurants and had high hopes for Karlings. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our visit. We were a semi-large group, with 8 people in our party. The food was just okay, the seating area was hot, and the servers barely spoke to us. Taking the menu prices into consideration, we truly expected so much more. View all feedback.
I had such a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The staff is incredibly welcoming, treating you like family, and the food is absolutely delicious.
I highly recommend both Karlings for a delicious meal and the bakery for a quick bite to eat, a beer, or a pastry. The meals at Karlings are the freshest and most flavorful I have ever had.
I ordered the 16 oz prime rib dinner, which was cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. My husband opted for the beef stroganoff, which was nothing short of a masterpiece. We also indulged in the fried lobster appetizer, which was equally delightful.
What???? House made bagels and house made English muffins! Yes please!
