Da vincis is one of the oldest Italian restaurants that have been standing for a long time since 1989. a very popular place for the old school dubians, because... read more Da vincis is one of the oldest Italian restaurants that have been standing for a long time since 1989. a very popular place for the old school dubians, because it is not only award-winning, but also cheap! it is a very long time for me, so I decided to visit it for the old times. her menu has a set of options that meets all nutritional requirements. her pastas comes in two sizes, small regular, which is amazing when portion control is what they are looking for in an Italian restaurant. we ordered the following main courses in small size: tagliatelle verdi al ragu’ d’agnello spinach tagliatelle mit lamm bolognese (small aed 49) spaghetti ai frutti di mare spaghetti in seafood, garlic, tomato sauce and fresh basilikum (small aed 55) both dishes were perfectly cooked, the size of portions. we have paired our food with house wine, which was aed 38 per glass. the decor is lightly dim, and gives them an Italian feeling in the minute they go. a meal for two cost us aed 180. a good value for money! very recommended for a quiet evening, or a romantic dinner.

I have to admit, my mouth was watered when I was going to this review. da vincis must be one of the best Italian food in the city. we ordered for the capriccios... read more I have to admit, my mouth was watered when I was going to this review. da vincis must be one of the best Italian food in the city. we ordered for the capricciosa pizza- so fresh in taste with the perfect Italian blend of olive, artichokes and mushrooms, made on fresh pizza dough and embroidered with gooey mozzarella cheese. about the best part of our meal, a classic spaghetti in cream Carbonara sauce with beef bacon. soo creamy, soo cheesy and the aroma of bark bacon together lets them mesmerized! my scoreboard for this Italian love: taste: 5/5 ambiente: 5/5 service: 5/5 price-performance ratio: 5/5 total rating: 5/5 _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

After I have lived in dubai for more than 11 years, I have often passed by da vincis without even giving it a second look. ranked No.2 after trip advisor, I too... read more After I have lived in dubai for more than 11 years, I have often passed by da vincis without even giving it a second look. ranked No.2 after trip advisor, I took my family there to try their pizzas. this hidden gem was really an excellent experience. we were greeted with very pleasant employees and received a lot of lead. the food came hot and we loved it! good pizza my opinion is a balance of good pizza crust and sauce. you shouldn't overdo the others. since vinci has managed to keep the balance very good. the only thing we didn't like and is pure on us is that we order a pizza with seafood and the pigeons had a strong seafood smell that was a little bit degraded for us. but that was our choice again.
