Sweet Marlays' Coffee - Daytona Beach

The barista glanced at me twice without offering any greeting or acknowledgment. Once she finished making coffee, she approached the register where I was standing, yet still chose not to say a word. I smiled and greeted her, to which she responded with a quiet "hi" in return. I then mentioned that it was my first visit and asked for a menu. Without a word, she simply pointed to the chalkboard on the wall. After a brief moment, I decided to order an oat milk mocha. To my disappointment, she informed me that they never carry oat milk and didn't offer any alternative suggestions. I’m not sure if they had other options available, but I left feeling unsatisfied and will not be returning.

Every time I go, I find myself waiting a lot... On the bright side, the atmosphere is a vibe. This is the kind of place you go to when you have time to kill and aren't famished. Our food was stolen by another customer. Surprisingly, this happens here often. So be prepared to wait some more. Fortunately, they have chess boards and cute decor to enjoy as you exercise your patience. The ladies room was super and everything is neat and clean. The staff is nice. Just don't go when you're in a rush.

Such a cool place, on top of having great coffee and breakfast options! Puzzles, chess, checkers, plenty of seating, very welcoming atmosphere. I’ll keep going back, again and again.

This is a great cafe. They have wonderful treats to eat. They also have two chess boards. Very cool place. Coffee is great too! They have about 5 to 6 outside seating tables which is really nice.

Friendly service, great coffee, awesome chocolate chip cookie. Terrific Ambiance :0) one could definitely Nanowritmo a Novel or more here.
