Steve's Famous Diner - Daytona Beach

Very poor quality of food, the vegetable soup only tasted like boxed tomato puree, the roast beef sandwich was not roast beef, it was just a cheap steak with onion. I am a distributor of meat to restaurants and I know the very well meat quality.The lady who assigns the tables was very rude and did not want to give us the table we wanted. The place has approximately 30 tables, only 7 were occupied.Only the bread and coffee was good.Never come back

This place is exactly what I needed and then some. I am a breakfast person who wants some of everything but since I am on a budget I asked for the smallest portions of my two favorite biscuit and sausage gravy, and 1 pancake. The food was out to me before I could even tap my foot once. The sausage was perfectly creamy and just enough sausage in small delightful pieces that were the perfect texture. The pancake could've been eaten without syrup and the real butter I was served. It was also thick and fluffy and just sweet enough. I loved that the staff all said hello tp each other very cheerfully as they came in and every customer seemed to be a friend. The tables were clean and so was the silverware, where I am from that alone is a win. Also, the coffee was fresh and hot. Highly recommended this place.

First visit today and I can not praise this place enough. My husband had the apple pie stuffed casserole he loved daddy it.I had the sausage gravy,eggs and home fries with onions delicious ?The owner came out and she introduced herself. And gave us a loaf of bread since it was our first visit and OMG delicious. I am making a big sub out of this.
