Steve's Famous Diner - Daytona Beach

This restaurant has been closed due to health violations. The last time in June 2024, the health department even put a notice on the door about violations, which they took off and continued to serve. The hot foods are barely warm. They leave a lot of food out of the refrigerator all day. Last night, we ate there, and my husband got sick AGAIN! We will never return.

Well I was in Daytona Beach for 4 days and seen the sign Steve’s famous diner and after 2 days of getting burnt food at other restaurants in the area I said well I’ll try this home cooking , I go in get seated an theirs really nothing much on the menu so I order chicken tenders an fries to try an get me by for three day, should I say they came out burnt an the fries burnt even more, bread was good , tryed to order a piece of pie , I asked waitress do you have chocolate pie or lemon ice box , no we have lemon meringue which was like a gel a said no I’ll pass , If this is famous I’d like to know what for Publix deli is 100 Times better that this an it’s practically right up the street, this was 4th of July week an not that many people in town for a tourist spot, I can see why , homeless people walking all in street, laying on sidewalk, drinks, lots of meth heads,pizza joints, bars, pasta , frozen seafood about the only eating places, I’d just avoid this area go to Destin , Fort Walton or Savannah Georgia

The place looks amazing! And the staff there is amazing! And the food is delicious I enjoyed being here

Definitely one of the best dives in Daytona! The fresh bread made each day is spectacular. The pancakes are amazing as well. Everything about this place was outstanding.

Cold food dirty bathroom don't waste your money waitress was terable service 1 piece of toast 3.50 cold coffee cold potatoes cold eggs
