What User doesn't like about Slice Pizzeria On The Pier:
Not the best experience. We had ordered 2 Shrimp’oh Boys and got 2 shrimp boils. Definitely understand the confusion because there was a live band playing while our order was being taken. We did not return the food once we got it cuz 1. we were pretty hungry and 2. we still had some type of shrimp and gave them the benefit of the doubt. The potatos, and corn were very under cooked. the shrimp could have been cooked p... View all feedback.
I have visited this restaurant before and really enjoyed it. I came for a drink and ended up ordering two margaritas, which cost $21.30, which I found to be quite expensive.
Don’t be fooled. food here is no good. The jambalaya i ordered literally tasted half cold, half warm like it was just microwaved. The blackened fish tacos had nothing in it except for fish and rice. The fish wasn’t even good.
The roof is where it’s at! No matter what day or time you need to come up here and dance and have some drinks with the amazing bartenders!
The service was terrible! We waited a long time to place our order and when we finally got to the window, the person was too busy serving drinks and wouldn’t take our order! They told us to place our food order at the main bar, again waited a very long time in a line. Finally placed our order but it took about 45 minutes or more to actually get our food! The food was just so so and was very overpriced. We left still hungry after eating there. The wait was about 30 minutes for a table at Joe’s Crabb Shack, so they sent us upstairs to The Roof and said it would be faster. It was not. We had just gotten in to Daytona and needed dinner. Would not recommend this place unless you just want alcoholic beverages.
The location on the pier was enjoyable. You order at a window, as there is no table service. The food was brought out to us by a woman who was quite impolite. She doesn't seem like the right person to be serving customers. They don't have any draft beer available. We won't be coming back for another visit.
