Horus Egyptian Lounge - Daytona Beach

This is a wonderful hookah lounge! The staff and owner are very friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. It's a relaxing place to hang out. I haven't tried the food yet, but the hookah flavors are fantastic, and the prices are excellent! Update: I finally tried the chicken shawarma, and it was absolutely delicious! I also ordered the double apple hookah flavor, and it was incredible—so sweet and enjoyable!

I also indulged in a dessert called Oum Ali, which was served hot. It was slightly sweeter than I typically prefer, but still quite delightful. There's a spacious hookah lounge next to the restaurant, and even though I don't smoke, the hookah looked authentic and had a great aroma, making the whole place feel like a local café in Cairo. Overall, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the environment was beautiful. Prices were reasonable—on par with Taco Bell! The staff were friendly and attentive. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun night filled with authentic Egyptian cuisine, hookah, or even drinks! P.S. It's a perfect spot for pilots, as the restaurant is located at the end of the main runway at Daytona International Airport. Diners can sit and watch commercial planes take off and land, experiencing the thrill of aircraft rolling down the runway right overhead.

I took my wife and father-in-law, both Egyptians, to this restaurant, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The waiter was attentive and on top of everything. I would definitely go back!

If you are interested in some new and fresh. Then Horus is definitely a destination that you will need to try out. They offer the opportunity to try ancient times smoking called a Hoopah it is water based and very clean. They have air purifiers that help. The food is all prepared at the highest quality and such great food. There is pineapple soda that is like eating a fresh cut Pineapple. And the service is very friendly and respectful.
