Genovese's Italian Cafe - Daytona Beach

Genovese is a reliable and authentic restaurant. We were seated quickly on a Saturday at 3:30. Our host and waiter provided prompt service. The garlic bread was excellent, likely made with mozzarella and a generous amount of garlic butter. We were also given butter for the table. About 10 minutes later, our spinach alfredo, meatball pizza, and lobster ravioli arrived. Both dishes looked amazing! The alfredo pizza was creamy with a delicious crust. The lobster ravioli was also fantastic, although we felt the portion size did not justify the $20 price. Overall, everything was really enjoyable and we may opt for their free delivery next time. The restaurant is very cozy and the service was excellent. The lasagna was really tasty, full of cheese and meat, with a very authentic sauce. However, the pizza sauce was a bit salty, likely due to the various meats on top. Overall, I would definitely visit Genovese again. I can't wait to try the spaghetti with crab meat next time.

The restaurant is now under new ownership, previously owned by a customer turned employee. Due to Covid and our old age, we decided to dine in since we were nearby, usually opting for delivery. I have come to believe that the food is even better when served fresh at the restaurant. The pizza, pasta, and lasagna we ordered were all delicious and satisfying. I highly recommend dining in to truly experience the flavors. Our server Karen was attentive and delightful. The crispy bread with a soft interior was a highlight of the meal. Bon appétit!

Instead of massive attempt to offer new York style pizza in a beach town. the spinach salad was fresh and had very good spinach. beautiful atmosphere for immersion, but small options for outside seats. this restaurant is clean with attentive service. they also have great possibilities to get out.

Good food and great service! This is a quaint establishment with quality food. I had the low fat pizza without cheese and it was great. The dough was crispy and fresh and their marinara sauce was also awesome. some of the best pizza i have had in awhile.
